Bodaiga, Once a member of Regime's rap duo Northern Ice hails from the Midwest, straight out of Beloit, Wisconsin, a diverse lyricist, who never wrote his lyrics down, but recalls only from memory. This ability is what enables him to captivate his audience when asked to freestyle along with his natural charisma. His laid back style has been compared to LL COOL J.
In 2003 Bodaiga split from Northern Ice to persue a solo rap career and signed with Down Load Records of Houston Texas. There he recorded and released his debut album titled "The Warehouse" which featured music Production from Regime's Platinum Producer G!Nx-GBanga ( singles: The Game Praise Me & Northern Alliance). His breakthrough radio friendly single WE DONT PLAY DAT featured Lil Jon and Bun B of UGK . From that album Bodaiga also released a single "Jukin Round Here" which garnered substantial airplay at Midwest Powerhouse Station Hot 105.9 and gained momentum throughout the nation. In 2006 he re-released "The Warehouse" album and retitled it "The Game Praise Me" presented by 'OG Ron C, (Southern Entertainment Award winner for Best Southern DJ of 2005). This release awarded Bodaiga "Best Artist of the Midwest" at the fourth annual Underground Music Awards.
Currently Bodaiga (now Daiyon) is still active in the rap game producing hit songs with Vudu Spellz (Grammy Certified Platinum producer) & Dj Dj Pain 1 (Platinum producer for Young Jeezy and others).
